Chapter 3

One of my favorite parts of learning and teaching manifestation is nerding out over the science. If you want to go deeper into some of those topics, you can start here.

Science is Magic

Mlodinow [says] that the fact that the past takes no definite form means that we create history by observing it, rather than that history creates us. The authors further explain that we ourselves are the product of quantum fluctuations in the very early universe, and show how quantum theory predicts the ‘multiverse’—the idea that ours is just one of many universes that appeared spontaneously out of nothing, each with different laws of nature.

“Along the way Hawking and Mlodinow question the conventional concept of reality, posing a ‘model-dependent’ theory of reality as the best we can hope to find. And they conclude with a riveting assessment of M-theory, an explanation of the laws governing us and our universe that is currently the only viable candidate for a complete ‘theory of everything.’ If confirmed, . . . it will be the unified theory that Einstein was looking for, and the ultimate triumph of human reason.”

For the first time, a Neuroscientist and Senior Lecturer at MIT reveals the surprising science that supports The Law of Attraction as an effective tool for self-discovery and offers a guide to discovering your authentic self to access your best life now.

“As Dr. Tara Swart, psychiatrist, neuroscientist, and Senior Lecturer at MIT shows us in The Source, if we can strip away our skepticism, these ancient tools of manifestation and visualisation are fundamentally powerful and incredibly effective at freeing us of self-limiting behaviours and propelling us toward our truest, most authentic selves. Swart reveals how and why these systems actually work by offering the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience and behavioural psychology, including lessons in neuroplasticity, magnetism, emotional and logical thinking, and even hydration, self-care, and relaxation.”

“Science is finally catching up with what mystics have known for thousands of years. Our experts will discuss what our government and corporations have been using for decades.

“If they are using it, why aren’t you?

For the sake of inner peace, great health, and joy, know that you are fully supported to self-empower and cultivate your innate intuitive ability.”

Behavioral Sciences

Behavioral Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal of psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, behavioral biology and behavioral genetics published monthly online by MDPI.

Carl Gustav Jung, Quantum Physics and the Spiritual Mind: A Mystical Vision of the Twenty-First Century

A segment from the paper’s abstract states, “We present arguments that force us to believe, that the empirical world is an emanation out of a cosmic realm of potentiality, whose forms can appear as physical structures in the external world and as archetypal concepts in our mind. Accordingly, the evolution of life now appears no longer as a process of the adaptation of species to their environment, but as the adaptation of minds to increasingly complex forms that exist in the cosmic potentiality. The cosmic connection means that the human mind is a mystical mind.”

C.I.A. Declassified Records

The CIA is a U.S. govn’t agency providing objective intelligence on foreign countries and global issues to the president, National Security Council, and other policymakers.

A summary from IFLScience.com states, “Drawing on ideas of quantum entanglement, the report claims it may be possible for human consciousness to profoundly alter the universe since reality is holographic projection; the part encodes the whole. In this understanding of reality, everything is deeply connected in a matrix of interconnected energy vibrations, from your consciousness to the depths of the universe.”

Note: This is not scientific report, but cited to mention the CIA’s interest.

One more self-help rec

The Work is simply four questions that, when applied to a specific problem, enable you to see what is troubling you in an entirely different light. As Katie says, “It’s not the problem that causes our suffering; it’s our thinking about the problem.” Contrary to popular belief, trying to let go of a painful thought never works; instead, once we have done The Work, the thought lets go of us. At that point, we can truly love what is, just as it is.

Loving What Is will show you step-by-step, through clear and vivid examples, exactly how to use this revolutionary process for yourself. You’ll see people do The Work with Katie on a broad range of human problems, from a wife ready to leave her husband because he wants more sex, to a Manhattan worker paralyzed by fear of terrorism, to a woman suffering over a death in her family. Many people have discovered The Work’s power to solve problems; in addition, they say that through The Work they experience a sense of lasting peace and find the clarity and energy to act, even in situations that had previously seemed impossible.”

Witch Wound Resources

Time travel to the Pendle Hill Witch Trials of 1612…

Young Fleetwood Shuttleworth, a noblewoman, is with child again. None of her previous pregnancies have borne fruit, and her husband, Richard, is anxious for an heir. Then Fleetwood discovers a hidden doctor’s letter that carries a dire prediction: she will not survive another birth. By chance she meets a midwife named Alice Grey, who promises to help her deliver a healthy baby. But Alice soon stands accused of witchcraft.

Is there more to Alice than meets the eye? Fleetwood must risk everything to prove her innocence. As the two women’s lives become intertwined, the Witch Trials of 1612 loom. Time is running out; both their lives are at stake. Only they know the truth. Only they can save each other.

Rich and compelling, set against the frenzy of the real Pendle Hill Witch Trials, this novel explores the rights of 17th-century women and raises the question: Was witch-hunting really women-hunting? Fleetwood Shuttleworth, Alice Grey and the other characters are actual historical figures. King James I was obsessed with asserting power over the lawless countryside (even woodland creatures, or “familiars,” were suspected of dark magic) by capturing “witches”—in reality mostly poor and illiterate women.

The Trauma Informed Witch Podcast

Episode #60: The Witch Wound with Jessie DaSilva

“The witch wound is the fear of connecting to your power and sacred practices because of the history of the witch trials and present day stigma around witchyness.

“In this episode, the Millennial Money Witch, Jessie DaSilva and I explore how to begin to heal the witch wound and how that relates to making more money in your sacred business.

“If you have some witchyness in you, this is a must listen!”

Bad Witch Rising

Self-Guided Mini Course

Welcome, witch! You’re likely here you feel like something is holding you back from reaching your full potential and power.

In this course, I offer one possibility: That through epigenetics, trauma experienced during the 200-year period of the witch trials occurring through much of Europe and the Americas got passed down into your DNA. And whatever experiences you’ve had so far caused those genes to express themselves in your everyday life.

You’ll learn what the main witch wounds are and how you can work through them, what goddesses are ideal to work with in your spiritual practice, and, finally, a spell as a symbolic ritual for moving forward. Includes the following lessons:

  • What’s your witch wound? (1:26:58)
  • Take the quiz!
  • DGE: Dark Goddess Energy (1:50:42)
  • Spell Circle Recording (1:09:13)
